Acknowledging the importance of value education,a workshop on Capacity Building Programme on Value Education was conducted by C.B.S.E in the school.The resource person was hon’ble Mr. Arvind Shrivastava ,Master Trainer ,C.B.S.E. He was welcomed by the Principal with a sapling.There were around 45 teachers in the workshop.
The main motto of the workshop was to train teachers to impart value education in the classroom teaching. He began with a highly important notion that values are not born but grown with age and time.He highlighted the significance of empathy ,honesty ,originality, integrity , compassion,team work , co-operation etc in the life of students .He suggested many practical ideas to impart values to the students.The teachers found themselves engaged in the activities.He discussed about various challenges that the teachers face in the classroom.He stressed on the need of integrating values in the curriculum for the holistic development of the learners.
The live learning session on the value education concluded with certificate distribution and vote of thanks.
